COMPOSITION
BLUDROX-250 DT
Each Dispersible Tablet contains:
Cefadroxil IP equivalent to Anhydrous Cefadroxil 250 mg
 
BLUDROX - 500 TABLET
Each Uncoated Tablet Contains:
Cefadroxil IP equivalent to Anhydrous Cefadroxil 500 mg
 
INDICATIONS
BLUDROX is a cephalosporin antibiotic, which is bactericidal against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms. BLUDROX is indicated in the treatment of infections caused by susceptible organisms which include upper and lower respiratory tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, genitourinary infections, dental infections
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Oral: Adult and children over 6 yrs weighing over 40 kgs: 500mg to 1 gm twice daily depending upon the severity of infection. Alternatively 1 gm once a day has been advocated in uncomplicated urinary tract infections and in skin and soft tissue infections.Children weighing less than 40 kgs
Under 1 year: 25 mg/kg daily in divided doses
1 - 6 yrs: 250 mg twice daily
Over 6 yrs: 500 mg twice daily
BLUDROX may be taken with meals or on empty stomach.
